Kathy Adamo, MAMS

Kathy brings more than 30 years of experience in legal and corporate organizations, private pastoral psychotherapy practice and fundraising in non-profit and faith-based environments.

Kathy has worked with M & M International as a consultant and is known for her capacity to build relationships with clients. Notably, Kathy worked with 26 parishes in the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa with the Growing in Faith Together campaign where M & M International was instrumental in raising $12.3 million over five years.

Kathy holds a master’s degree in Theology from Regis College through the University of Toronto. After completing her studies, she had the privilege of being the Director of Development, raising funds for adults with intellectual disabilities. There, Kathy was responsible for overseeing the implementation of a strategic approach to philanthropy which included major gifts, corporate donations, grant solicitation, legacy gifts and in-kind resources increasing revenues in support of the strategic direction of the organization.

Most recently, Kathy completed certificates in “Essentials of Psychoanalysis”, the Canadian Gift Planning Certificate for “Major Gift Professionals” and has been granted certification as a coach, speaker and trainer through the John Maxwell program.

As an active volunteer in church sacraments and activities, Kathy and her husband have had the privilege of facilitating a Baptismal Preparation program for countless parents and godparents as well as a Marriage Preparation course for hundreds of couples.
