Dare to dream

Strategic organizational planning determines where an organization is going over the next year or more, how it is going to get there and how it will know if it got there or not. Far more important than the strategic plan document, is the planning process itself. There are a variety of perspectives about strategic planning and a variety of approaches used in the strategic non-profit planning process.

The first step in a strategic plan is a review of the vision and mission. We want to ensure that these statements align with the non-profit’s experience and direct programs plans.

M&M International will illustrate and practice techniques with non-profit to create or refine a vision or mission statement. Techniques and sample materials will be reviewed and illustrated.

• Dare to dream

A long-term Strategic Plan provides guidance on high-level areas of programs, physical and human resource needs. With this, your non-profit will have an actionable plan with realistic and achievable goals.

Meet your neighbours and co-create your future

Missional Engagement is an in-depth process which seeks to align physical, human and financial resources and the many program opportunities that exist in the church and broader community.

This is an opportunity to research deeply the current organizational needs and current practices as well as understanding who are neighbors are and how we are called to serve. It is often used when a organization is at a cross-roads and a natural next step is not immediately obvious, for example declining organization, merged organizations, buildings requiring maintenance or re-use options.
