Kathy’s career began after graduating from George Brown College when as a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario she worked as a law clerk for major downtown Toronto law firms and In-house Counsel departments.
Since her work in the legal field, Kathy has been involved in parish fundraising initiatives at St. Rose of Lima parish in Scarborough. Kathy has worked with M & M International as a consultant and is known for her capacity to build relationships with clients. She has worked with Little Trinity, St Anselm’s parish, St John’s parish in the Beaches, St Joseph’s parish in Scarborough, St Bonaventure’s parish in Don Mills and Our Lady Queen of the World parish in Richmond Hill.
Most recently Kathy worked with 26 parishes in the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa with the Growing in Faith Together campaign where M & M International was instrumental in raising $12.3 million over five years.
Kathy is a graduate from the University of Toronto, Regis College where she obtained her Master’s degree in Ministry and Spirituality (MAMS). Regis is the Jesuit graduate facility of theology and founding member of the Toronto School of Theology at the University of Toronto.
In addition to Kathy’s work with M & M International, she has developed a private pastoral psychotherapy practice in downtown Toronto where she meets with clients each week.
Most recently Kathy has undertaken the role of Director of Development at L’Arche Canada Foundation where she is responsible for building donor relations, developing relationships and increasing revenue growth with charitable foundations and organizations while developing special projects aimed at continued growth of donor revenue and acquisition.
